Are you undecided about registering your child in a sports activity for the summer session? Before making a commitment, why not come out to Logan Park on Saturday, May 19, and take part in free trials of some of the activities being offered for young children (2 to 4 years).
- Sportball (soccer), from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. or from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
Children will be taught the fundamental skills needed to excel at soccer. These include throw-ins, trapping, passing, goalie skills and more.
- Sportball (T-Ball), from 11 a.m. to noon
Children will learn the fundamental concepts of the game in a fun environment: throwing, catching, running bases, batting and fielding.
You do not have to register to take part in the trials. Simply show up at Logan Park with your child. Information: Recreation, Sports and Community Services Office, 450-466-3890 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
