Capture d'écran application

Developed in collaboration with Prudent Groupe Conseil, the smartphone app gives the City one more way to communicate with citizens. It was created to provide you with easy and fast access to the most important practical information about the city, such as contact information, the calendar of activities, online tools, and much more, all via your smartphone or tablet. But there’s much more to it than that.

Beyond simply providing you with information, the main goal of the app is to help you prepare for an emergency before it happens. In the event of an emergency, you are responsible for taking care of your family for the first 72 hours, while our teams get organized and help the most vulnerable population groups.  The app provides you with all the necessary resources to help you cope on your own, whatever situation arises.

Notifications

We may occasionally send out messages through the mobile app. These notifications will appear as a banner on your screen and as a badge on the app icon.

For the time being, we will only send out emergency alerts or public security information messages, as we want to make sure not to trivialize the significance of the messages sent with this app.

Automatic updates

Any new content will be automatically updated when you open the app, so you don’t have to check for updates! However, to make sure this happens, you should occasionally close the app.
