The City of Saint-Lambert supports National Organ and Tissue Donor Week

Thursday 13 April 2017

The City of Saint-Lambert is proud to partner with the National Organ and Tissue Donor Week, from April 23 to 29. During this week, the members of City Council will show their support for the cause by wearing the green ribbon representing organ and tissue donation recognized across North America and in most European countries.

With this gesture of participation, the City joins Transplant Québec and an organ and tissue donation awareness network of over 80 municipalities and cities across Quebec.

At this time, Lambertans are urged to indicate their consent to donate their organs and tissue by signing a donation sticker and applying it to the back of their health insurance card. They can also register their consent with the Registre des consentements au don d’organes et de tissus of the Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec (www.ramq.gouv.qc.ca) as well as the registry managed by the Chambre des notaires du Québec (www.cnq.org).
