Émilie-Heymans indoor pool: Pool reopening delayed due to work

Friday 10 August 2018

The City of Saint-Lambert wishes to inform citizens that the reopening of the indoor pool, usually scheduled for the end of August, will be delayed to allow the work to upgrade the quality of the facility to be completed.

2018-09-25 - Update
The work of replacing the dehumidification and heat recovery system, refitting the pipes and redoing the tilework around the basin continues at the indoor pool. If everything goes as planned, the pool should reopen around the beginning of November.

As soon as the official date of the pool reopening is known, we will announce it through our various communication tools. Thank you for your understanding!

As a result of this situation, the City will not be able to offer swimming lessons during the fall session because once the work is completed, there will not be enough hours left for students to meet the class requirements.

Classes will be offered when it reopens

However, as soon as the pool reopens, fitness activities will resume for a shortened season. Citizens are encouraged to keep an eye on our social media and newsletter to see when classes begin and when they can sign up. Here is the list of classes that will be offered:
