Agglomeration services
On January 1, 2006, the boroughs of Boucherville, Brossard, Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, and Saint-Lambert were reconstituted as municipalities. Under current legislation, these cities, along with the Ville de Longueuil, make up the Longueuil agglomeration.
The Ville de Longueuil is responsible for managing the various so-called services of collective interest. Here are a few:
- Municipal Court
- Fire Prevention
- Police
- Waste Water Treatment
- Property Assessment
- Management of ecocentres
For more information about the Longueuil Agglomeration, visit the Ville de Longueuil’s website. There is no official portal for the Longueuil Agglomeration.
