Christine Larouche invites you to her exhibition “Il s'agit d'une rencontre”. This is the artist's first solo exhibition. Through her canvases, she seeks to encourage a dialogue with the viewer. She hopes to provoke “encounters” between her canvases and people, each of whom might find in them a particular moment, a human experience, a singular visual ambience, a moment of reverie... or even the desire to make a work their own.

This exhibition project is also about colors, strokes of the spatula, a chaos that has become organized. It was her latest paintings that inspired the title of this exhibition. She seeks to share the relationship of an epistolary love affair from 1983 that is still with us today. She invites you to plunge into this inner world, to share moments of her life and discover this “first encounter”. She wishes you as much pleasure in discovering her paintings as she had in creating them.

In addition to her paintings, Christine will also be presenting multidisciplinary works.
