National Seniors Day

As an accredited “Age-Friendly Municipality,” our city recognizes the importance of older adults within our community. We will be taking advantage of National Seniors Day, which will be held on Tuesday, October 1, to underscore the invaluable contributions they have made and continue to make to our families, our communities and society in general.

Free activities

• Chair yoga workshop | Tuesday, October 1, from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the library: Learn gentle, accessible yoga techniques.
• Lecture Prenez-vous trop de médicaments? (in French only) | Tuesday, October 1, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the library : Attend to this lecture given by Émilie Bortolussi-Courval, a clinical nurse and
  doctoral student in experimental medicine.
