On Tuesday, October 1, the Ville de Saint-Lambert celebrates National Seniors' Day

As an accredited “Age-Friendly Municipality,” our city recognizes the importance of older adults within our community. We will be taking advantage of National Seniors Day, which will be held on Tuesday, October 1, to underscore the invaluable contributions they have made and continue to make to our families, our communities and society in general.
FREE ACTIVITIES
The City will mark the occasion by offering them two free activities:
- Chair yoga workshop | Tuesday, October 1, from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the library: Learn gentle, accessible yoga techniques.
- Lecture Prenez-vous trop de médicaments? (in French only) | Tuesday, October 1, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the library: Attend to this lecture given by Émilie Bortolussi-Courval, a clinical nurse anddoctoral student in experimental medicine.Free admission. Limited places.
SIMPLE ACTIONS
On a day-to-day basis, it's easy to show respect and gratitude to the seniors in our lives. Here are a few simple ways to do so:- say “thank you"
- visit, call or video message and take the time to say “hello”;
- running errands for a senior;
- helping with outdoor tasks;
- take a walk with them.
Be sure to express your recognition and thanks to the older adults in your circle on this special day.
