Train derailment in Longueuil | Re-establishing the situation

UPDATE | The situation has been restored.
- The containment perimeter has been lifted.
- Route 116 is once again open to traffic in both directions.
- EXO train service has been restored.

For the moment, there is no impact in Saint-Lambert following this morning's train derailment involving hydrogen peroxide at the Canadian National (CN) marshalling yard. Saint-Lambert is not currently included in the containment perimeter.
The Rue Saint-Georges level crossing is blocked, and Route 116 is closed in both directions. The Saint-Georges / Saint-Louis and LeMoyne sectors should be avoided.
Railway tracks on the Mont Saint-Hilaire line are currently unavailable. Train departures are cancelled. Please plan your travel accordingly. For more details, visit the EXO website.
