Public transit: our seniors get around free!

Published on 08 Jan 2025

Great news! Once again this year, the City is pleased to offer seniors aged 65 and over free bus travel. The aim of this service is to encourage seniors to stay active and take part in activities taking place in the agglomeration, without having to worry about the financial aspect.

The “Accès 65 HORS POINTE” transit pass allows seniors to make an unlimited number of trips using the regular transit or paratransit services of the RTL network, during the following off-peak hours:

  • Off-peak daytime hours: 9 a.m. to 3:29 p.m.
  • Off-peak evening hours: 6:30 p.m. to the end of service.
  • Saturdays, Sundays and statutory holidays.
